SUMMARY

The aim of the study was to evaluate the effectiveness of therapy with the tetracyclic antidepressant Mirtazapine in combination with the anticonvulsant Gabapentin in the complex treatment of OAB without urinary incontinence. The study involved 54 patients, treatment was prescribed for 8 weeks, and 5 visits to the clinic were planned. Comparing the variability of dysuric symptoms before, during and after treatment, most patients showed improvements in the main “markers” of functional disorders of the lower urinary tract. This is confirmed by the intensity of the reduction of the main objective and subjective symptoms of the disease, which was manifested in a decrease in the frequency of pollakiuria by 40.25%, nocturia by 62.04%, and episodes of urgency by 73.59%, and in general, according to the results of 8 weeks of combination therapy, a good treatment result was observed in 41% of patients, a satisfactory treatment result in 49%, which indicates the effectiveness of therapy with good tolerability of drugs.
