Evaluation of the efficiency of combined therapy of women with acute uncomplicated pyelonephritis in the presence of infection caused by mollicutes in urine and genital tracts. Massage 1. Clinical and microbiological studies

SUMMARY

93 women with acute uncomplicated pyelonephritis were divided into groups, depending on the presence of mollicutes in the urinary tract and the treatment regimen. Quantitative determination of bacteria and their species spectrum was carried out by sowing biological material on nutrient media with subsequent indication of isolated pathogens. Mycoplasmas and ureaplasmas were determined by culture-enzymatic method and polymerase chain reaction. The urinary tracts of the patients of the research group (group 1) and the first comparison group (group 2), unlike the patients of the second comparison group (group 3), were infected with mollicutes. The patients of groups 2 and 3 received traditional empirical antibiotic therapy according to the protocols for management of patients with acute pyelonephritis. In patients of group 1, this treatment was supplemented with the administration of doxycycline, probiotic Biospirin and specific human immunoglobulins against mycoplasmas and ureaplasmas. Clinical efficacy of treatment in patients in groups 1, 2 and 3 was 82,4%, 25,8% and 46,4%, respectively. It has been shown that the additional use of doxycycline, Biosporin and immunotherapy led to the effective eradication from the urinary tract of not only bacteria (decrease to 11,8% against 41,9% and 50,0% in groups 2 and 3), but also mollicates (decrease to 26,4% against 83,9% in the group 2).
