Obstructive azoospermia

The article considers the issue of male infertility for reasons of obstructive azoospermia. The review of international recommendations, prospective and retrospective studies, clinical observations, reviews in the field of epidemiology, etiology, localization of pathological conditions leading to obstruction of the seminal vessels has been carried out. Particular attention was paid to congenital and acquired, inflammatory and traumatic, iatrogenic and genetic lesions of the testis, epididymis, vas deferens and ejaculatory ducts. The wide variety of possible obstructive causes in the formation of azoospermia, as well as their influence to the problem of male infertility, has been shown.
